Additional sittings of the High Court
The President of the High Court has directed that additional sittings of the High Court take place during September 2013, over and above the existing vacation arrangements. This means more cases will be heard and get disposed – shortening the queue to have your case heard.
It is proposed that High Court judges will sit to deal with several areas of business including, but not limited to, the following:
•Asylum;
•Hague and Luxembourg Convention;
•Family Law;
•Commercial;
•Personal Injuries Assessments;
•Motion Lists (including Common Law, Non-Jury and Chancery);
•Judicial Review Leave Applications.
Further information regarding the allocation of dates for these sittings will be made available shortly through the Central Office of the High Court and on the Courts Service website.
